Swimathon Introduction

Picture
In this area of the site you will find out all you need to know about this fantastic event, which raises so much for charity.

Please use the links to the right to navigate.

The Rotary Club of Milton Keynes organises a Swimathon each year. The main event is usually held in March, at Stantonbury Leisure Centre Pool.

The event raises money mainly for local Charities, (and other Charities supported by Rotary International).

Teams of up to six swimmers are needed. (But not more than six.) You do not need to be an expert. Experienced swimmers or beginners who can swim a length (33 metres) unaided can take part, as can children (with parental permission.) You only need to be prepared to give up an hour of your time and get sponsored for the number of lengths your team swims. So why not get together with friends and family and help our local community while also having a lot of fun?
