News | 2011 Another successful Technology Tournament

Each year Rotary clubs in Milton Keynes arrange an event for local secondary schools. This year, on 10th March 2011, twenty four teams from seven schools (four pupils per team) were given the unseen task of building a crane able to travel along a track, under a bridge, pick up a ‘contaminated’ object from a container, return to the starting point and deposit the object! Congratulations to all those who took part with special thanks for the support of Debbie Brock, Mayor of Milton Keynes, and to Denbigh School for hosting a very well organised event. Hazeley School won the advanced award, Denbigh the intermediate with St Paul’s and Oakgrove Schools 1st equal in the basic grade.
